issue with texting and uconnect

Have connect in my car, the hands-free texting worked for the first few weeks and decided today to stop working. Called icon next and was told it has something to do with the MAP Bluetooth system in the phone.... Is there a way to fix this, or some programming I need downloaded... Help please, I really got used to having that feature

Sorry to hear that you havent been able to get your device to work with texting in your car recently. I can imagine that this may be concerning. What make/model phone do you have? Are you able to send/receive text messages regularly? When not using the bluetooth in your car? Please share. Thanks.
