lg g3 wifi loss of signal

So, my phone is awesome, except for the fact that sometimes as frequently as once an hour, I have to cycle airplane mode to get it to actually have a WiFi data connection. It still shows as connected and active, but will have a loss of network connection error on Facebook and the browser will actually show the little dinosaur that tells me I'm offline. This is on all WiFi networks, including while I'm at home, sitting in the same room as my router. It does this rarely while on the Verizon data network as well, but seems to mostly happen with the WiFi. Its extremely frustrating and I've actually opted for the 4g connection instead of WiFi on many occasions, which is killing my data allowance. Please help!!
