Thanks to your update my phone is garbage!! Someone please tell me how to get lollypop off my phone, can't take pictures in time,battery dies when I walk my dogs! Pages won't load. I now hate my phone, and hate Verizon for putting that update pop up on my phone until I stupidly did it! I either want a new phone, lollypop off this one or cancel my plan with NO penalty..what good is a semi working smart phone who's battery doesn't even let me take my dogs to the beach*

It's not Verizon't update at all. It's HTC's update. Go complain to them. You aren't going to get out of your contract with no penalty and you aren't getting lollipop off the phone either so forget about those options right now.

It said New VERIZON update..not HTC update..and YES, I can get out of the contract legally if my smart phone isn't able to do what I purchased/promised it to do.As it was it was no better than an old school flip phone that kept crashing. I did contact VERIZON and they had me do a total back up and reboot of the phone, it seems to be better now, but not back to what it was when I bought it.I will give it a few more days and if things don't improve, the legal battle is on if they don't either replace my phone or end my contract that I am in. I am just trying to warn everyone do NOT update to this all day sucker lollypop!

Too bad you are one of the only people with issues. The update again has nothing to do with Verizon. Please educate yourself before you make claims. Good luck trying to get what you want because its not going to happen.

2) This is a Verizon-sponsored update

3) Google Wheaton's Law and try to learn something.  Katkal was only trying to get help in what was certainly a frustrating situation.

What does "Verizon Sponsored" even mean? Just because its on a Verizon phone and Verizon network doesn't mean they made it. Google it and learn something yourself.

Why is it that young grasshopper is the only person on here that is allowed to insult or belittle people? He is just really showing what a jerk he is and NOT providing anything useful. MY phone said that I had a VERIZON update, not an HTC update, not an Apple update, not a game update but a VERIZON update. I think in 50 something years I have figured out how to read!

I hate lollypop.  G8ve me back the other system.  Found many of my functions have changed.  This is with both.My sons note3 and my s5.  Take it back.  I did not ask for it.
