When connected to a bluetooth earpiece from my older windows phone, an incoming text would be read to me, complete with voice prompts asking if I wanted it read, and then further asking if I wanted to reply or if I was done. It was the ultimate in convenience!
Having recently upgraded (?) to an HTC 10 and android, I no longer get any voice prompts at all with a newly upgraded (?) Plantronics ear piece.. The ultimate in absolute inconvenience and total lack of safety!
I've been told that it has to do with the text software that's installed on the phone device. Is that true, and if so, does anyone have a suggestion for the right text program that will provide voice prompts for texts when connected to a bluetooth device?
