I've been trying to redeem Verizon Dollars for Gift Cards for almost 3 months now. The link to redeem them is supposed to take you to the cxLoyalty site. However, the link does nothing. It does nothing when you are on an internet browser. It actually gives you an error message when you click it in the Verizon app.
I've spoken to multiple customer service people as well as the Gift Card customer support team. Nobody knows why the links don't work. It was supposed to be "escalated" and a trouble ticket made but nothing has come from it.
As of right now, I have to assume the Verizon Reward program for Gift Cards is not available any more. The entire reason for gaining Verizon Dollars through the Visa card is gone unless you want to keep buying cell phones.
I spent four hours with 5 different departments and not one could help me get my Verizon dollars to purchase e gift cards. What a waste of my time, worst company to deal with.
Itโs now 11/16/23 and the link still is broken. Guess itโs never being fixed?

Same here. NOT using their credit card anymore! Representative doesnโt understand anything after 1 hour on the phone.
It is June 15,2024 and for weeks I have been trying to get my Verizon dollars to buy gift cards. However it doesnโt work.
tried turning the phone and then on.
uninstalled the app and reinstalled.
Tried several when browsers PC and Apple products and nothing worked. So, it is not on our side.
please find the solution and letโs know so I can use my other apps to gain gift card dollars.
I did everything also, the app is horrible!

You at Verizon need to get this fixed now. Part of the selling points of the Verizon Visa card is the ability to buy gift cards with reward dollars.
How about posting the solution here for everyone to see. I have redeemed my points many times for gift cards, however, the last 2 weeks the link is not active

Hello, Melne14. Help is here. Effective 8/28/24, Verizon Dollar rewards can no longer be redeemed toward travel or gift cards as part of the Verizon Visa Card rewards program. The Verizon Visa Card Travel & Gift Card portals close operations after 8/27/24. Our cardholders can still redeem Verizon Dollars towards their Verizon bills or eligible Verizon products/tech.
