I have a question...on the $1.99 and .99c daily plans...if you make a free call to 911, *611, *228, etc., and it's the ONLY CALL you make that day, are you still charged the daily charge? I imagine you wouldn't be on the $50/month plan, and there's no charge on the minute plan (which I'm on), but I'm curious about the daily plans, since I might switch to one of them eventually...

Some may, but 911, *611, and *228 are for sure shouldn't invoke the 1 day daily plan. 911 can't be charged for and is regulated that all devices whether they have service or not must work if they can connect to the network. *611 is customer care and it works on devices without service as well. *228 is to initiate programming or updating tower information which also works without service(last time I tried at least it did).

Tidbits is right, 911, 611 and 228 are free call. They are they only ones that are free.
Also, from what I understand, the daily access fee applies to calls only? If I use messaging, with or without a bundle, and/or use the web (which I know will charge 99c for 24 hrs.), but make no calls, there's no charge on those days?
For the first part of the question, you can text and it does not charge you a fee,99 cent fee, calling and texting are two separate things. you can text for the whole 30 days if that the calling plan you have and there is no fee for calling only your text bundle fee. If you use the web that is the same as making a phone call because you have to connect to the web via a phone call so thats what the 99 cents would be for.
That sounds like some good Info there Tidbits thank ya.! b
But does the web (which is 99c for 24 hours) ALSO incur the DAILY access fee as well? For the sake of example, let's say I was on the $1.99 daily plan and did NOT do any VOICE CALLING, and NO MESSAGING, but mobile web ONLY? Would I just be charged the 99c for the web that day, or would the web use trigger the DAILY ACCESS charge as well, for a TOTAL of $2.98 for that day? I can't find one person who will give me an answer to that, and I've tried pretty much every internet search engine in the U.S, and still don't have an answer, so I guess it's time for *611!
