CanI keep my number if I do not pay while I am in Europe?

Does the prepaid plan require me to pay monthly, even if I am overseas?   I need to have a prepaid plan allow me to keep my telephone number active even if I lag and not pay monthly while I am in Europe.

You will have to check with the prepaid customer service team to be sure but usually can keep your number as long there is some sort of balance on the prepaid account with the device not being used. This does typically expire at a certain point so that is why I would check to see what amount will and for how long it will keep the number.

I do know if your balance is $0 and nothing is paid to it the number is typically lost within a period of time and the prepaid account cancelled, so check and see how much is needed and how long that will keep account active if not being used....
