When I make a call now, it says "the time available for this call is...unlimited." Why on earth do we need to listen to this before a call connects if all plans are unlimited? It takes a long time to connect and then to have to listen to this first? Seems a bit dumb.

No one who works for Verizon can answer this? It seems a bit redundant. We have unlimited minutes on prepaid. Why do we have to listen to this recording when making a call? What is the point?

This is an older post, so the prompts may have changed, but see if this helps:

"No one who works for Verizon can answer this?"
This is primarily a peer to peer community forum and not a direct link to Customer Service. Even if a rep responded they would have directed you to the Prepaid customer service number as the reps that roam this community are only versed in postpaid accounts.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
