Daily prepaid plan with the Palm Treo Smartphone - haven't been able to get help -

I'm looking to use The Treo 755p with my daily prepaid account, there is no option for it when I do it on Verizon website: it requires a $30 monthly data plan, but, others have been able to opt out on the data plan because the smart phone is older than 2008 and does not require the data plan, so I need to speak to a representative. I've tried calling and asking, but I can;t seem to find somebody who knows this and is willing to do this for me

You can not use a Smart Phone on the Daily Prepaid Plan.

Activating a phone released prior to November 14, 2008, without a data plan is certainly possible on a Postpaid account; however, Prepay accounts may have different options/restrictions and this may not be possible on a Prepay account. Please contact our Verizon Wireless Prepay customer service department at (888) 294-6804 to review your activation and calling plan options and requirements for your Treo 755p.
