I got the S8 and gave my niece the S6, she uses prepaid plan.  Does she have to get a new SIM card or can her number be changed on the one I had in the phone

Congratulations on your new device! I'm sure that your niece will appreciate the S6. The device can be changed online, over the phone or at a store:http://www.verizonwireless.com/stores/. She will need a SIM card that is compatible with her device. Think link will provide the steps on changing the device online:https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/prepaid/managing-devices/. Prepaid services can be reached here: 888-294-6804.  BobbyN_VZW

Hello debgram1,

Giving your niece your old phone is a wonderful gesture. Is she using Verizon Prepay services?
