Is it possible to make my phone a hot spot for the kindle?

I have a verizon pay as you go plan. I also have a Kindle Fire. Is it possible to make my phone a hot spot for the kindle? So that i can use wifi for my kindle? If so, how can I do this

If you have one of our Prepaid Plans listed here, you may use the Hotspot to power the internet on the Kindle: https://www.verizonwireless.com/prepaid/  Which Prepaid device do you have (make/model)? This will determine exactly where you would look to turn on the Hotspot feature.
