Move phone number from trac-phone to prepaid phone

Bought a verizon prepaid phone and used the number they gave me during set-up.  Wanted to first see if reception was better than trac-phone I currrently have.  It is better.  Now I want to move the trac-phone number to my verizon pre-paid phone.  Can't see anyway of doing this.
