I have another question concerning prepaid data only plans with a Jetpack and video streaming: For smartphone prepaid plans there is a hint that video straming is limited to 480p and that it might happen to become prioritized behind other customers. Does this restriction also apply to prepaid data only plans (e.g. for the 100$ plan with 10 GB)?

Hi, jetpackuser. I understand wanting to make sure you get the best resolution and speed possible on any plan you may choose with our reliable services. Video resolution for prepaid plans will default up to 480p video quality for smartphones and basic phone, while data devices like tablets and Jetpacks will default up to 720p. The same prioritization that's described at http://www.verizon.com/about/news/network-management-verizon-unlimited-explained for unlimited plans does not apply to tiered data plan options though. You can also find more information about prepaid Jetpack services at https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/prepaid-mobile-broadband-faqs .

You've come to the right place for help Jetpackuser. I know how important it is to fully understand how your Prepaid Data only plan works.
With the tiered Prepaid Data only plans you are not prioritized. If you are on the $100 10GB data only plan, you will have 10GB of 4G speeds to use.
