Wifi calling on prepaid accounts after number change

Hi, I was wondering if there is a technical reason for wifi calling no longer working after changing my phone number. I have tried disabling/re-enabling, but no success connecting several weeks after the number change.

Did you enable wifi calling on your phone and in your MyVerizon account also after the number change?

I did. I also disabled both, waited a day, and turned them back on (both on the device and on the website).
