I would really like to have a phone with wi fi, connection, but it looks like that there are no phones with wi fi on them on the prepaid plans. I really use a cell phone so little that I really don't want a contract, it looks like even if I do get a contract I will have to pay at least 29.99 per month to even be able to purchase a phone with a wifi connection. Does anyone know if there is a phone out there that will work with a prepaid plan and that has a wifi connection?
You can get Broadband on a prepaid phone what is the made and model of your phone?
I do not have any Verizon phone yet, I currently have a sprint phone. I was trying to find out if I could purchase any type of phone from Verizon or a older model or even a used phone from E-bay any cell phone that would have wi fi that would receive b/g so I could use my wi fi at home. I see that verizon sells wi fi phones but it appears in order to purchase the phone I have to purchase a contract plan and add a 29.99 data plan in order just to get a wi fi phone.
Currently I have sprint but there is one place I go quite often and Sprint does not have a signal in this location, but Verizon does have signal in this area that is why I would like to get Verizion.
Verizon wants you to pay for a data plan if you have a fully-feature phone, like one that includes wi-fi. I would look elsewhere for the ability to activate a wi-fi capable device on prepaid service. You should look into MVNOs that use the Verizon network.
