Call blocking with Family Base not working?

I subscribe to Family Base, and blocked a certain number. But I am still receiving text messages from that number. I have an android Galaxy 3, so it's not an iMessage thing.  Can someone help? Please?

Remove and readd the block. If still coming thru remove and readd family base if possible. U don't think they'd use a spoof app to send texts?

I tried adding/removing/adding several times and still they got through. I'll test this in the morning with friends and unsubscribe then resubscribe to Family Base as you suggested.  Thanks!
