Can family locator alert texts be turned off?

Can family locator text alert be prevented when phone is located

Same question as above - it would be great to have the ability to turn off notifications to my children's phones when I locate them.  Why should they receive a text every time this is done?

cause your kids has privacy right and V don't know if kid is using that device or a kid....you might be making sure for kids safety but V has to follow guidelines for privacy regardless of age gender etc etc....

Yes, your family member's phone will receive a text message each time Family Locator attempts to locate the phone.
