Can someone advise me the best way to manage my sons usage. I currently have the family plan and he is continuously using up his data 3 weeks into the month. After he uses up his data he can still use it when he's not using wifi. I think he can, anyway. I want make sure this isn't the case. Also, is there anyway that he can look after how much he is using and how much he has left. Thanks. He is 12 and he is allotted 6 g's

Have you tried Family Base? Verizon offers this feature, that allows you to set usage limits on each phone on the account. It gives you control over data, "curfew use" so as to prevent use during certain hours, like school. As far as a way for him to monitor his use, is basically on the device. you can set limits as to daddy use, but he would be able to change the limit, thus allowing him to continue to use data. Verizon offers a 30 day free trial of the app. You may want to check it out, and see if this is something that can help you.
