JustKids account - can't get app access code via text


We just got the JustKids account and phone for our daughters.  They would like to set up an app to video chat with their friends however to set up the app, it texts a code to be input.  That text doesn't come through as it is not an approved contact.  Is there a way around this so we can get the app set up?  I can't seem to tell what number it is coming from because they just get a text that says "you were unable to receive a text message due to a device restriction or insufficient funds".

I understand wanting to get an app to video chat with friends. Nowadays, it is a fun way to stay in touch. Regretfully, there isn't a waY to receive a text message without it being saved under the 20 trusted numbers. You may try changing the plan momentarily to a regular unlimited plan to receive this text and install the app. Then change it back to the Just Kids plan. I hope this helps.
