I have this probleme from time to time with my Samsung Galaxy S21+ where I cannot send picture messages using the Messages app to other Android phones on Verizon network but have no problem sending to iPhone on Verizon network. They start to send, get stuck and then are automatically canceled. Have tried restarting phone, clearing app cache, using mobile data only and nothing works. When I view details on the pictures I'm trying to send it shows File Transfer but when sending to iPhones it shows Multimedia Message.

This time it started a day or two ago. It's happened before and usually for a few days to a week those times. I've been able to send pictures with Facebook messenger and Snapchat.

It randomly started working again today. I didn't change any settings or update any apps. And that's what bothers me. It keeps happening every few months and only affects my Android phone texting photos to other Verizon customers with Android phones. Very frustrating.

I completely agree on the frustration of this happening off and on and even when calling Verizon the reps tell you it's your phone or your wifi because they have no network issues. Well all these people didn't have the same wifi and phone.
In addition, now some of my pictures I send show the time and "delivered" or "read", but others just show the time and "MMS" even though it's the same picture. It's NOT showing "delivered" or "read" on those. How do I fix this? I tried to turn on and off the setting but it didn't help. @vzw_customer_support

I am also having this issue along with my mom, my son, my step-dad, and my grandma. It started on 10/29/2022 for all of us. Some a few hours before others.

It happens because, I am sure they are all using the wonderful VERIZON MESSAGING APP which is the only common denominator you need to worry about... just saying. Good Luck with that.
FIX ALL THE VERIZON APPS AND YOU WONT HAVE A JOB.

Actually I am not using the Verizon messaging app. I use the Samsung messaging app that was on my phone. I like it better than the Verizon one.

Sorry, I apologize, although any issues I have come across in the last 1.5 being with Verizon has to do with there apps, although they continue to point the finger to anyone but themselves.
