Message + split screen

Hello,

I just bought the Galaxy Tab S7 Fe. When in the Verizon Message + app, the format is conversation on the left & new conversation on the right. It is a split screen. I can't figure out how to change the layout so just the conversations come up. I look at the threads within this community & cannot find a solution to fix this. Why can't the user have the choice of the layout? We can customize the bubbles, notifications, etc. but cannot choose the layout of the 1st screen. I have several times clicked on a recipient when starting the app by accident. I have never started a conversation without looking at my previous conversations with someone. My Android phone doesn't have this layout which I am very grateful it hasn't changed. I am sure I can't be the only one who wishes we had a choice. Please help.

Have you uninstalled/re-installed the Message+ app? Did you buy the device from Verizon?

Yes, I uninstalled it & then installed without updates. It is still doing it & yes, I got my tablet at Verizon store. ☹️

Hi again, I uninstalled message + and now the version says 8.0.10S-arm64. The split screen is still there. 😞

We're sorry to see that the update didn't fix the layout of your Messages. You will want to report this to the app developer. Please follow these steps to report a bug:

1. Open the Message+ app.
2. Click Menu > Get Help > Report a bug.
