unlike other samsung phones, is there a reason why the fascinate does not alert you, via sound, when the battery is fully charged in order to avoid overcharging & having to eventually replace the battery?
additionally & more importantly, please tell me there is a better way of deleting multiple e-mail messages other than hitting the checkmark to the right of each message. the phone seemingly cannot handle more then 6 - 10 at a time & there should be a way, similar to the Omnia II where you can select all messages or all below a message & delete in one click.
thank you

I am getting a vocal buzz when battery is fully charged whenever the phone is being charged turned on and I am getting a visual confirmation about battery being fully charged when phone is turned off.
In any case, you don't have to worry about overcharging your battery as any modern phone has a build-in charge interruption board whenever battery reaches its maximum capacity.
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your email question as I am using Yahoo Mail and never have to delete more then 10 emails at the time.

Newer batteries usually take less time to charge, and are rarely prone to overcharging due to technological advances. As long as you do not leave the phone charging for hours after it is charged completely then the device would be fine. Battery charging time depends on the remaining battery charge and the type of battery and charger used. The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but it will gradually wear out. The battery indicator will show when the batter is fully charged. Battery alert sounds are usually sounded when the battery needs to be charged.
I apologize but there are no configurable options to delete multiple e-mails. On the Email Inbox just tap and hold the e-mail and press delete. You can try downloading another Email Application on the Android Market place for more customization options.
