Anyone else had an issue with getting vtext from a mindspring.com email?

When hubby tries to send me a text from his mindspring email account, the send fails and he gets this message:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error.
The following address(es) failed:
9999999999@vtext.com SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
host smtp-bb.vtext.com [69.78.128.213]: 554 njbrspamp1.vtext.com 

I think someone is quarantining the message because this string is a red flag: njbrspamp1.vtext.com

We never had trouble getting messages to me when we were on tmomail.

Is the message longer than 160 characters including images and other automatic text? Have you tried the number@vzwpix.com address instead? Send Picture/Video Message using Email | Verizon Wireless
