SHARYNSCHERYLEICH, getting a new software update should help improve the function of the device. I want to make sure that your features are working as they should. If you go into your Settings, Display, Tap on Always On Display, tap on Layouts, is the Show Notifications switch on? Please keep us posted.

It’s important you receive notifications to ensure you never miss out on an important call, text or email. Let’s dig into this and make sure notifications are coming through. Do notifications show when you pull down the status bar, http://spr.ly/65848kVAI? Have you powered off and on since the update?

Yes to both. The notifications do not show on the always on display screen.
The turn on notifications under layout is grayed out. The only time it
works is if I have a lock on the screen. Before 7.0 the notifications
showed on the always on display even if unlocked. Makes no sense for a user
to walk by their phone and only want to see what notifications have come
through only if it was locked.
