I have had my s21 since August. When I first got it and left a 5G area I would have no service. I went back to the store and they switched SIM cards. Still the same thing. Why will my phone not automatically switch from 5G to other networks when 5G is not available. I have to put the phone in airplane mode then out for it to pick up the other networks.
mcreech,
A connection you can count on is always crucial. We never want you to have issues getting connected with any of our networks. How often does this happen? What are the zip codes and nearest cross streets to where you are having this trouble? -Andrew
27105 and 27106 are the primary zip codes I'm in but it happens everywhere. It happens all day long, consistently.
Thank you for the details, mcreech. We do not show any alerts in that area. Please click on the following web page https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-232287/ for steps and is the phone set to Automatic as shown on that web page?
