8 note video calling

My husband and I can not call each other on our verizon galaxy 8 notes, it flashes a message stating that he wishes to remain on voice and he gets a message that I wish to remain on voice.  I can receive and place video calls to friends with s8's and s8 plus. How can it be fixed?

I know how important it is to make sure that you are able to stay in contact with the people that you care about each day. How are you trying to place his call? Are you trying to use the video calling feature or are you just trying to place a normal call?
