Can I reject a system update?

Does anyone know how to reject a system update?  I keep getting the notification to install but I don't want to.  Does anyone know how to refuse the update and no longer get the notification?

I don't believe there is a way, just have to dismiss and ignore it...

I have a Galaxy Note4 which works perfectly. I don't wish to do any system updates because I feel the updates will negatively effect my phone.

We want your device to be customized to your liking. We do not have the information that'll allow you to disable the software update notification without the notification reappearing. I understand the hesitation with performing the update when your device is working perfectly fine. This software update provides the latest Android security patches, fixes an email issue and updates the Amazon Shopping app. To alleviate this notification, I recommend that you perform the update and if you have any additional concerns, we can address them at your earliest convenience.
