Are we so impatient to not allow the remedy to take effect? Give the "replacement" a chance.

Yes, especially as there's been no confusion (theatrical eye-roll).

But there does seem some recent clarifications; not that I am going to catalog them here but it's sounding more hopeful over the past several hours.

it'll slow things down if everyone has to power down, then power on the phone to see if it's an s7.
