Fast charging gone

My fast charging no longer works since the update on my s7 edge a few weeks ago. I need that back because i use my phone a lot and constantly on the highway.  Are there any solutions? Can I just uninstall the update?

i didn't know fast charging could be done in a vehicle!!

It can be done if you have a fast charging mobile charger.  I have one and it works perfectly.  However, you can't use the USB port to do it.

SUGANSPICE, being able to keep your phone charged when you're driving is essential. Don't worry. I am confident that we will find a solution. Can you tell me how you're charging your phone while you drive? Are you using the USB cable or an adaptor to use the home charger? Are you able to use the fast charging option at home? -Jacob_VZW

I have a car charger as well as a travel charger and neither one will fast charge

The charger must be a fast charger.  Are you sure the fast cable charging setting is on?

Yes, you use the lighter plug.

Let's continue to work together. Unfortunately, we cannot uninstall the last update. Some settings may be changed after performing an update. From Settings, select Battery, and then select Fast cable charging and advise us of any new results. Here's a link with more details about fast charging http://spr.ly/6580DUzin.
