Hi,
I got my work phone recently, but have never been able to send or receive SMS/MMS. WiFi, phone calls, regular internet...everything else works, just not sending or receiving any kind of message. I've tried:
- Go to messaging application, force stop, delete data, clear cache.
- Power off, pull battery, pull SIM, put it all back together
- Use 3rd party messaging app
- Delete all (failed) messages
- Change from CDMA/LTE to Global connection, and back again
- Turn off WiFi
All of the above multiple times in various orders. Any thoughts?

Will since you have already tried different steps troubleshooting, I would power your phone up in safe mode to see if you can send messages.

Thanks for the suggestions. Just tried sending a text in safe mode but no luck

What specifically does your phone say when it trys to send a message?
How long have you had the phone?
Do you have the lastest Android update?
Have you tried to send messages from different locations at least 50 miles apart? This way different towers are used.
Verified that all your notifications are on.
Verify if 3g/4g data is working by going to your Verizion account, (wifi off). If your account shows up and you can log on then data is working.
Could be your phone is defective and might have to be returned.

"Undelivered message. Unable to send this message."
I've had the phone for a few weeks but haven't tried texting until recently. The WiFi and 3/4G work so I've thought the phone worked fine. Apps from the Play store, WiFi browsing, and 3/4G browsing all work fine.
Tried texting from 30 miles apart. No luck.
Android software up to date.
Guess I have to return. I'm sure it will be a fun process through my corporate office phone provider.

The only thing left that I can think of to do, if you havn't already done so, is a factory reset. You would want to do this anyway if you are going to turn it back in.
