Galaxy Note 4 or Note Edge signal strength issue

Anyone else noticing their bars/signal strength fluctuate while on and off a call on Galaxy Note 4 or Note Edge? when not on a call, my signal strength dBm is around -111, but once i make a call it shoots up to a strong -63 to -65 dBm, and then as soon as i hang up the call again it goes back down to a weak -108 to -113 dBm. why is that? id prefer if it kept a consistent -63 to -65 dBm
