How can I place speed dial icons on a home screen of my Galaxy Note 3?

I often use my phone in a hurry, and I can't find a way to move speed dial icons to a home screen.  Can anyone help me, please?

Have you tried using Direct Dial widgets?  From your Widgets, press Direct Dial and hold it ... it will take you to the Home Screen, where you can place it where you want.  Once you let go of the widget, it will take you to your Contacts, where you can choose the one you want associated with that widget.  Scroll to the contact and press it ... you then should have that contact as a Direct Dial on your home screen.
