"Unpinch" the screen; in other words, place your thumb and index finger on the middle of the screen, then spread them apart toward opposite corners of the screen.  "Pinch" the screen to reverse the zoom.

You can also have the volume key set to zoom.

Activate the camera

Touch the gear at the top of the screen (or the menu soft key)

On the pop up menu, touch the tab with the gear

Look for Volume key, if it says The zoom key then you are set

If it doesn't just touch it and select The zoom key
