How do I access my mobile hotspot?

I wasn't aware but I switched to the 4gb plan and think I now have hotspot access I can use? How do I access it and can I hook it to my laptop?

Ann, thank you for responding. I have a Galaxy 5. I finally found it under a search in settings, but didn't know I even had hotspot ability on my plan! I tried it and it worked so I guess I do. Thanks so much! I appreciate your time.
