How do I do a screen shot after the update?

When I wanted to do a screen shot before, I just held the power button and the home screen button and was able to generate a picture of the screen.  Now that doesn't work.  What is the new way to capture a picture of the screen?  Otherwise, I do not want the update with the new features....I do not want to change my features!
