A voice tells me I have a new text message or e-mail. I can't figure out how to turn this off! Can someone help me? Thanks!

Hello RKoch30,

It sounds like you may have Driving Mode enabled. Driving Mode allows you to remain hands free and will announce when you have an incoming call or a new message. To disable you can follow these steps:

Settings>Language and Input>Text to Speech Output>Turn off Driving Mode.

Please let us know if you continue to experience problems.

Sounds like Hands-Free Mode is turned on; slide the notification screen down, click the upper right-hand overflow button, and then turn it off.
