Installed AQG4 update this morning, why does daydream still say unavailable for my device still?

Just installed AQG4 for my s8+ this morning that "supposedly" enabled daydream support. But when I go into the play store, it still says my device is not compatible with this version. Did we not really get daydream support, or does Google have to update daydream itself too?
