How can I free up memory on my S7?
I am trying to transfer everything to my computer, will that work?
If so, please walk me through the process Please
If you dont' have an SD card, get one. You can move apps, pics, and other types of info to the card. This should free up lots of internal memory. I use an app called AppMgrIII to move apps to the card. It identifies which apps can be moved to the card and moves them.
If you updated your phone to Oreo there is an option under device maintenance for memory. This is supposed to free up memory that just closing out of an app does not do. If you have smart switch that is one of the easiest way to backup your phone or just to transfer things from your phone to a computer
sherri7416@, We want you to have the best options to clear up your memory. These are some great suggestions from the community. As jrh4054 mentioned, an SD card will be a way to move pictures and other content off your phone. Kathy65793 does point to a way to transfer content to your computer. I would like to suggest an awesome option for real-time back-up that will give you peace-of-mind. Our Verizon Cloud is a way to back-up your content, and preserve it, even if something happens to your phone. http://spr.ly/6581Dlmyx Does this help?

The options Kathy65793 and I offered don't involve a monthly charge. The Verizon Cloud does.
We want to make sure you can try all available options. If you are looking to free up memory, you can also use features such as Google Photos or Google Drive. These features let you save your pictures, documents, and videos for free under your Google Account. Once installed, you have the option to pick what you want to back up. Let us know if you have any further questions.

An SD card is great move your pictures, videos, music etc to it.You can also clear up memory by deleting old emails (empty trash). Get rid of temp files. Clear your web browser. As stated by others. You can go Settings>Device Maintenance>Storage and get rid of temp files and files you don't need anymore. Get rid of downloads you don't need anymore.
