I recently switched from an iPhone 6s+ to a Note 8. Sometimes when people with iPhones send group messages I won't get anything. I have tried using Google message and the default Samsung messaging and the issue happened with both.
Do you know if the iPhone users created new threads or are they responding to the original thread before you moved away from iPhone? I'd have them delete that thread and start a new thread and see if that helps. Also, you can try to deregister from iMessage via this Apple tool:
Deregister iMessage on your iPhone or online - Apple Support
Generally speaking, when I have friends move from iOS to Android I suggest the above 2 items.
Please let us know if this helps.
I believe everyone is still responding to the original threads. I'll have to ask everyone to delete and start a new thread. I also went through the deregistration process and it says my number isn't registered.
We want to make sure you are taken care of. Were you able to resolve your messaging issues? Are the other message group members Android users? Do they have any similar issues?

Ok, glad to hear it is no longer registered. Let us know if it begins working if she starts a new thread. Hoping it was something easy.
