When Samsung has finished writing the code and all the various parties involved including Verizon Wireless has completed the testing to verify it doesn't break other things.

Verizon has released the Oreo update.  I am getting it right now.

I haven't encountered any problems yet.  I have noticed that there are quite a few additions added that have been excluded from other Android OS.  The Auto-Restart feature is included.  Through some luck and a little help from another app, I found Samsung Cloud.  The time on the lockscreen can now be changed (YEA) to one of seven different styles.  There is actually eight styles but the first one is the one we have been used to looking at.  The one with the two digit hour on top of the two digit minute.  You can even change the color of the time and date.
