No warning, no nothing. I can't turn it back on manually until I open the cover and remove & then replace the battery. Once I do that, it's good for months until it happens again. Could it be an "app" problem?

Having a phone that’s turning off on its own is a bummer. I rely so much on my phone, so I know how pertinent it is to have a phone that’s working properly. It’s very possible that the phone turning off is related to an app. What model phone do you have? When did this start? Any new apps or updated software? When are you noticing that it’s happening? Has the phone been damaged in any way or exposed to moisture?
