Power Save Mode and Mail

When I have power save mode on, I go into MAIL and click the refresh button.

It just spins forever and won't retrieve any mail.

Once I tuen power save off, I do the same thing but get mail.

I have my mail sync setting set to manual.

Any idea why this is happening?

Power Save mode might restrict background syncing or restrict to wifi only syncing.

I have syncing on manual. I manually hit the get mail icon. I'm also on wifi.

I can get my Gmail.
