I can't scroll or close apps. Have restarted. Turned off. Turned on. Have to double click for password. Very frustrated. Was trying to sync my fitbit which can't be found. Any help appreciated.
Odd. When you hit the 3 bars on the navigation bar at the bottom, that's not letting scroll/close apps?
I couldn't even do that. It would minimize the open apps, but I couldn't close them. I did manage to fix it. Somehow I ended up having a voice manager open and double click activated. The volume for the voice manager was so low I could hardly hear it even after I turned the volume up all the way. I still haven't managed to link my Versa Lite fitbit, but at least the phone is working. Thanks for responding. 🙂
That's certainly not good. Is your device fully up-to-date?TaylorH_VZW
It did do an update after I managed to fix the voice manager (or whatever it's called) and turned off the double click. I've not had any problems since. On a positive note, my Amazon music playlists that disappeared off my old phone, showed up on this one! 🙂
Thank you, IMSLES. If you reset all settings on the device, does it perform more normally? You can view instructions to reset all settings by following this link: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-231654/. Resetting all settings won't affect your personal data, but it will return all the settings on the device to the default value.

Sounds like you turned on the Accessibility settings. To scroll through the screen you need to use two fingers for the Accessibility settings to recognize the touch as the command to scroll through the screen. You also have to double tap items to select (first tap) and then open (second tap) an item.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
