Since you are within your 14 day return period the smart move would be to take it back and exchange it.

I agree. Make sure to return with the box and other items received in the original purchase.

Allison, this is no way to start a long lasting relationship with a phone. I know how important it is to have a working phone. We will help get this resolved. Where did you purchase your phone? Is there any physical damage?

it's better the faster you return it, the sooner you will have a device that wont keep rebooting. its not the norm. i've been through 2 edges in a short period, not for reboots but update issues. trust my EXPERIENCE.You dont want to wait until only samsung will repair it. save greif on yourself, and don't delay. vzw sent mine in two days, and first one in 24 hrs.
I actually brought it back and exchanged it for a new one , hasn't done it. Only thing, is sometimes, the volume on my notifications goes off on its own, and just vibrates. I haven't changed the settings at all.
ITS EASY TO ACCIDENTALLY BUMP SETTINGS ON THE EDGE.I DO IT A LOT/sometimes i lower volume too far and it vibrates. be hoppy with new edge and see these besides whats below.....https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/113112916417351733864/albums/6307920019296903089?cfem=1
I’m glad you were able to get the malfunctioning device exchanged, Allicat39. That new volume description is a bit odd though. As LENNYEDGE mentioned, it is sometimes easy to bump the side and feel a vibration when the volume lowers too far. Have you noticed any pattern as to when the notifications go off on its own and vibrates? Do you also see a notification in the top notification bar of your phone around the same time?
