I've got a Galaxy s5 and about 3 weeks ago my SD card started unmount in itself and now it won't mount again. It just gives me notifications saying my SD card is blank (it's not) or that it's safe to remove. I've tried removing it and putting it back in, cleaning out that area, and a factory reset. Everything is up to date.

SD cards can become corrupt. Can you read the data with your computer ( through a card reader, or adapter)? If so, I'd copy it all to the computer, then get a new SD card for the phone.

I don't believe it is corrupted because once in a blue moon it will suddenly mount again for like an hour, with all the files on it accessible, and then quit working again.

Even so, I would try a different SD card to see if it works more reliably. That will help determine if it is the card, or the card reader in the phone that is at issue.
