Authorized Dealer for Verizon says my Samsung Galaxy S3 won't be supported for much longer. Does anyone more about this? And if so, so you have any idea how much longer I might have in using this phone?
Verizon has been planning to shut down their older 2G/3G networks as they migrate to 4G/5G, but it does take a while, as they are currently targeting the completion by 2021. If you’re still using the Galaxy S3 at that time they will notify you of the effective date and actions to take in advance so you could use a newer device that would be compatible with the more advanced networks.
