Last night, at 4:21am the dreaded emergency tone came through like a bull horn in the middle of the night even though my phone is set for do not disturb and the emergency ringtone was set to silent. While I completely understand the need for these alerts, and I would still like to receive them, a silent text to be read during daylight hours would be helpful. Or simply send the emergency signal and message the moment the phone comes back online after DND is over.
Besides turning the Amber Alert toggle switch to OFF completely (or manually off each and every night is a pain), is there a way to receive silent texts to be read in the morning?

try selecting "no messages" during dnd.
i only receive calls from family members/favorites, during dnd.
ELIZONLINESTUFF,
We understand the importance of silencing unwanted notifications. To silence Amber Alerts, you would need to disable Amber Alerts within your settings. There is not a way to silence these alerts without disabling the emergency alert.
