Stuck on Andriod 6.0.1

G930VVRU4API3 update fails/crashes at 25%. Error code: 402. Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant says "Your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware."

I reset my phone to factory. Have over 10GB free space. Deleted the cache download as well.

How do I update the security settings?  Or should I not?

Running:

Baseband version: G930VVRU2APG5

Have you tried using Smart Switch? It will also update your phone.  Make sure your phone is connected to your computer then open the program and then go to MORE it will tell you how to update your phone.

Another program is Kies it will update your phone too.

FRANKZAO, making sure your device is up to date on the latest software version is a must. What make/model phone do you have? Since you have attempted multiple steps already, there is an additional option. If you have a local BestBuy store near you, you can call them to see if they have the "Samsung Experience Store", not all BestBuy's have one. If the store near you does then you can go inside and get your phone flashed with the latest software version. You can learn more here by clicking on this link. http://bit.ly/2yB8Exr

I'm having a similar problem with Nougat.  I took my phone to the local Best Buy store, which has a Samsung Experience Store.  The person there had no clue how to do the flash install and had no access to a computer even if she did know how to do it.
