Texts being sent and not delivered

Is there a reason why some of my texts are just being sent and not delivered?

A text that is never delivered isn't much use to anyone. We want all your texts working awesome. When did you first notice this? What happens when people who you send these to check their texts?

Sometimes they get them a few days later or not at all.

I am able to send texts but they are not delivered

I have the same problem of texts being "sent" but not "delivered" .   from 9:23 to 9:47 EDT my texts to one number were not being delivered. then all of a sudden they all get delivered.  In the meantime I get numerous texts back to me from the same number most of which are asking why I'm not responding.

Please fix this problem.
