Why are verizon refusing to take note 7s back?

I've walked into a store with it,  been told to leave as the store might explode.   Been told I'm getting a box but they don't know how or when.  Twitter support tells me to take it back to the store.  That didn't work.    Nobody will confirm its off my account.   Meanwhile it sits in my house waiting to blow up.

The gloves are not fireproof.  The instructions inside the box state that the gloves are enclosed because "some individuals may be sensitive to the ceramic fiber paper lining the Recovery Box."

Oh really? Lol my friend at work said that her stepdad got a recovery box and that was why they sent them. I stand corrected. Thanks for the info.
